We started looking for "the boat" about
four years ago. The plan is to live aboard and cruise America's Great Loop www.greatloop.org/ starting in June 2013. I had grand illusions of
something in the 40 – 50 foot range with twin diesels, state-of-the-electronics
suite, Zeus pods and the list went on. But soon enough I came to the realization my
last name was Kelly not Rockefeller.
So first we had to sell our house in
Virginia. Tried the summer of 2011… no buyers. Tried again the summer of
2012 - Hurrah! a buyer – the deal was done! We moved into an apartment in
Olde Town Portsmouth, VA.
September 2012 we purchased a 36 foot
Marine Trader DC in need of a little TLC (Time, Labor and Cash) but she has
everything we needed and more.
